1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Use apply to the Good Game Family public website and My GGF Portal. By accessing or using either service after these terms take effect, a user agrees to follow them and any applicable GGF program or community rules.
If a user does not agree, the user should not use the website or Portal.
2. Account Eligibility and Youth Participation
My GGF accounts are for adults age 18 or older. Parents, guardians, teachers, and other adult school or organization contacts coordinate youth participation. Minors are not offered their own Portal accounts.
Protected Portal routes use an adult self-attestation. Checking the box is not identity verification and does not independently verify a user's age.
Public informational content may be intended for a broader audience. The 18+ requirement applies to My GGF account holders.
Activities involving minors or student information may require additional notices, permissions, agreements, or consent measures depending on the activity and GGF's role.
3. Accounts and Access
GGF may provide Portal access to approved staff, volunteers, creators, streamers, school contacts, program contacts, partners, and other adult users. Access may depend on role, lifecycle status, onboarding, required acknowledgements, and permissions.
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep credentials secure and not share access with an unauthorized person
- Use only the access provided to them
- Promptly report suspected unauthorized use or inaccurate account permissions
- Complete required onboarding or acknowledgements for their role
GGF may immediately limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security or safety concern, suspected misuse, inaccurate eligibility information, or violation of these terms or applicable GGF rules. GGF may also end access when a relationship ends, onboarding remains incomplete, or permissions change. A user may request review of an access decision by emailing compliance@goodgamefamily.com. Ending access does not necessarily delete organizational records.
4. Roles of the Portal and Connected Systems
The Portal provides onboarding, role guidance, navigation, request intake, requester conversations, and appropriate linked status visibility.
- monday.com is used for internal execution and accountability, including ownership, status, due dates, next actions, blockers, handoffs, approvals, and delivery tracking.
- Microsoft Teams is used for internal staff coordination and conversation.
- SharePoint is the authoritative source for approved documents and records.
- Canva and the Creative Content Hub are used for creative production and approved creative assets.
Users should follow the workflow assigned to their role and should not treat conversations or Portal visibility as a substitute for required execution records.
5. Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Use the website, Portal, or GGF systems for an unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to access another person's account, restricted information, or systems beyond their permission
- Interfere with security, availability, or operation of the website or Portal
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes privacy, intellectual property, publicity, or other rights
- Harass, threaten, exploit, or endanger another person
- Misrepresent affiliation with GGF or speak on GGF's behalf without authority
- Publish private Portal information or private submissions without authorization
- Use information obtained through GGF for an unrelated commercial or personal purpose
Additional program, event, volunteer, creator, community, or moderation rules may apply when provided to the user.
6. Requests, Volunteer Hours, and Records
Portal requests, messages, volunteer-hour entries, acknowledgements, approvals, and status displays are organizational records. Users must submit accurate information and must not falsify time, activity, completion, approval, or authority.
Submission does not guarantee approval, assignment, publication, payment, reimbursement, partnership, or participation. GGF may ask for clarification, reject an entry, correct an error, or retain an appropriate audit record.
The Portal may display status linked to internal work, while monday.com remains the internal execution and accountability system.
7. User-Submitted Content
Users retain the ownership rights they hold in content they submit. Users must have permission to submit the content and any included names, images, music, marks, or other protected material.
By submitting content, the user gives GGF a limited, nonexclusive license to host, store, copy, review, and process that content only as reasonably needed to operate the submission or requested workflow. This limited license does not authorize public promotional use.
GGF must obtain separate permission before using submitted content publicly for advertising, fundraising, promotion, or other public-facing communications, unless that permission is already contained in a separate written agreement or release. GGF may decline to publish or may remove submitted content.
8. GGF Content and Marks
The Good Game Family name, logo, original website and Portal content, program materials, and other GGF-created materials are owned by GGF or used with permission. Users may not copy, modify, sell, publish, or imply endorsement through those materials except as allowed by law or written permission.
Materials linked from another organization remain subject to that organization's rights and terms. A link does not create a partnership or endorsement unless GGF states otherwise.
9. Donations, Apparel, and External Services
The website may link to Zeffy for donations. Donations made through Zeffy are processed under Zeffy's terms and policies. GGF may receive donation and donor information made available to the organization.
The website may link to Fansidea for apparel. Fansidea is an external shopping destination, and its operator controls pricing, payment, fulfillment, returns, and customer service. GGF does not operate or guarantee that external service.
The prior Wix and Printify shop is discontinued. Prior GGF shop terms, including older fulfillment or return language, do not apply to Fansidea purchases.
Other linked services have their own terms and policies. GGF is not responsible for an external site's operation merely because GGF provides a link.
10. Privacy
GGF's handling of personal information is described in its Privacy Policy. GGF does not sell personal information.
Users should not submit sensitive or confidential information unless an authorized workflow requires it.
11. Availability and Changes to Services
GGF may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features or access. The website and Portal may experience interruptions, errors, or maintenance periods. GGF does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Disclaimers
The website, Portal, linked resources, and organizational information are provided for general and operational purposes. They are not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, educational, or emergency advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and Portal are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties, express or implied, or promises that every feature, resource, link, status, or item of information will always be current, complete, secure, or available.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GGF and its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of, or inability to use, the website, Portal, or linked external services.
This limitation does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Suspension and Termination
GGF may immediately suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, safety, suspected misuse, or violation of these terms or applicable GGF rules. GGF may end access because of inaccurate eligibility information, the end of a person's GGF relationship, incomplete onboarding, changed permissions, or another legitimate organizational reason.
A user may request review of an access decision by emailing compliance@goodgamefamily.com. Suspension or termination does not necessarily delete organizational records or remove obligations that arose before access ended.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms or use of the website or Portal must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Yavapai County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a legal action, a user may contact compliance@goodgamefamily.com so the parties can attempt to resolve the concern informally. These terms do not require arbitration.
16. Changes to These Terms
GGF may update these terms as its services or practices change. The current version and effective date will be posted with the terms. When a change materially affects use of the Portal, GGF will provide reasonable notice to affected account holders, such as through the Portal or email. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
